PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

· Post graduate degree in Law, Finance or Business Administration

· 8 – 10 years of experience with legal and compliance department of some foreign bank.

· A strong understanding of the financial regulations, especially in securities and investment businesses, as well as knowledge of financial products and practices
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Continued development and management of a number of regional compliance functions

· Management of compliance staff

· Interact with the business lines and other divisions in the organization.

· Manage compliance matters including reporting to the authorities and associations,

· Monitoring of day-to-day controls, reviewing and establishing internal rules, and giving compliance-related instructions to other departments

· Handle legal matters.
