Company Description:
One of our clients is engaging in the business of industrial gases, they are market leadership in the Industrial Gases / Healthcare businesses and its other related fields. Company has portfolio of three businesses - industrial and special gases, health care and welding products. We have following job opening for their Karachi office.
Job Role:
Incumbent will be based at Karachi and will directly report to the Distribution & CES Manager:
Key responsibilities:
o Built a strong distribution team. Set stretching goals for the team, based on Company values of passion to excel, empowering people & innovating for customers.
o Develop strong partnership with customers & strife to provide innovative solutions
o Deliver targeted distribution efficiencies ensuring business continuity.
o Safe operation of all Bulk & PG&P transport in line with relevant operation Standards.
o Efficiently manage fleet KPI particularly cost & continuously strive for improvement.
o Manage contractors in line with group guidelines & defined KPI.
o Manage the planning, scheduling & logistics for timely delivery of product to customers in close association with the scheduler.
o Strive for zero scheduling & customer related stock-outs per month.
Required key skills (functional/technical)
o Strong leadership with strong focus on customers.
o Good relationship with subordinates.
o Organised & result oriented.
o Work as part of a larger team – safety officials, sales personnel & regional resources.
Required qualifications/experience
o Degree in Engineering, Logistics or Management is preferred (LUMS / IBA).
o At least 01 to 02 years of working experience.
o Previous experience in managing large groups of people - preferably drivers.
o Understanding of Pakistan Law governing the transportation business.
