Job Description:
Installing, supporting, and maintaining servers or other computer
systems, and planning for and responding to service outages and other
problems. A System Administrator must demonstrate a blend of
technical skills and responsibility which may include:
- Performing backups.
- Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration
changes.
- Installing and configuring new hardware and software.
- Network Designing Diagram, Workflows, Charting and network
policies.
- Content writing for in-house deployed Network Infrastructure.
- Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting
passwords, etc.
- Answering technical queries.
- Responsibility for security.
- Responsibility for documenting the configuration of the system.
- Network Designing Diagram, Workflows, Charting and network
policies. - Troubleshooting any reported problems.
- System performance tuning.
- Insuring that the network infrastructure is up and running.
- Writing basic level SQL Queries for Databases.
Skills Required:
- Bachelor Degree Must be Graduate (Certification will be a value
add) .
- 2-3 years experience in Systems Administration .
- Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2000/2003,
Linux.
- Advanced knowledge of Internet Information Services 5.x and 6.0.
- Knowledge and troubleshooting of MS SQL Server 2000.
- Working knowledge of web application security, understanding of
vulnerabilities and countermeasures
- Can manage and maintain Network availability for servers (DC, ISA,
Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, ORACLE,IIS, MS CRM, MS GP).
- Can maintain 24/7 inter-connectivity (VPNs).
- Can manage SharePoint portal server 2007.
- Ability and desire to learn new skills quickly.
- Effectively communicate issues and resolutions to all levels of
the
organization.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive customer and
internal information.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
